While living in the jorthern part of nigeria I had always admired their style of architecture though the commonly used building material is red mud (clay) mixed with straw for strengthening. When finished it really comes out nice.
The buildings in this part of Nigeria has a very unique design and paintings of the building walls. A Northern building is easy to identify especially that of their sarikin's, Emirs and Endowed Alhajis.
